It only happens once every few weeks and for me it’s impossible to replicate. I am running the latest FE bios. I have no idea what to do and i neen to study for finals tonight which i cant do without internet. I went to FB16 from FA to try and fix this problem with no luck. I hope there will be a fix for this.

What you are suggesting is basically a complete power down and then a reboot. We suggest you to contact your supplier for further assistance to see if they can help you do further testing on the system. Okay we have a router in the mix here which creates a whole new reason why you could be having issues to which comcast has no control over at ehternet end. Please log in to reply. In my efforts I actually found a fix that has worked twice so far without any need to do anything in the bios settings.
Thank you for sharing this Honzak. As a guest, you can ethermet and view the various discussions in the forums, but can not create a new topic or reply to an existing one unless you are logged in. I have restarted my computer, shut it off, made sure connections are snug and everything is turned on. The trick with the unplugged powercord works but it is ver very annoying! I have ethrrnet the same problem with the rev2.
Anyone who responds with something useful gets rep. One thing that I did come across on Windows 7 forums, is that other people have had problems with their network adapter disappearing.

You can also make any changes to the BIOS to suit x58a–ud3r self. This is very important, it allows your router to assign your devices an IP address from a list it creates starting with the next one up from its own IP address. This has happened about 10 times since I got the card and takes about 2 hours to be able x58a-u3dr get it working again so any help would be appreciated.
At first, the connection just kept dropping every twenty min. DSL connections usually require a name and password, which is assigned by the ISP, this is not needed for Cable modem connections.
