I’ve tested each of the two modules in all three slots and no errors are reported. I first learnt of the errors when I recently tried to validate for the first time a partition copy I had mzi using Acronis True Image software. It had for a long time seemed sluggish, but is now like a new PC! Is it possible that the earlier attempted BIOS flash did in fact work, i.
I’ve used Acronis for a number of years now, but never before tried to validate the copy – don’t ask me why!

Hello Jack That’s very reassuring. In your case, the confusion is easily resolved: Currently set to Auto. All they do is access a database that is not necessarely correct or specific enough to really identify certain components.
However, there is one thing that puzzles me a little bit: I will come back whether I have problems or not to let you know how it’s going.

However, as I would be, Den is seeking reassurance that this will solve the problem before 674 out on the additional 1.
I do believe it is AMIBios. If there is one thing you should never ever trust, then it is software utilities that are trying to tell you what mainboard you have. Currently set at 2. Any changes made to this setting may cause a stability issue, so changing the DDR voltage for long-term purpose is NOT recommended”. I’d like to know how to determine whether my board is still really only a Max 2 and whether therefore it is possible that these sticks are in fact too highly specified for my motherboard, which perhaps still really only supports up to PC?
